The study would be our holistic understanding of knowledge systems within the walled city, its people and their living practices, through the attributes of cultural practices, lost narratives, local identities and shared memories.

Cultural Practices:
Bidri Art, Traditional Construction method, Congregation spaces, Public Engagement and learning
Lost narratives: Bringing back/mapping Sufism culture and its impact on Bidar city, lost local histories with respect to public historic figures
Local Identities: Art and Artisan relationship while engaging in the craft, Material and Construction knowledge, Architectural Style, Spatial planning(?) Built form (?)
Shared Memories: Public spaces - engaging with it, daily routines, markers defining the space and their importance/constancy in people’s lives; Bidri as a practice in Bidri community; Sufi Practices
